On June 8th-9th during the VI International Architectural Forum was held a presentation of Ruukki design facades, capable to significantly change the architecture of contemporary buildings.
The participants were able to get acquainted with the Rauta exposition, which includes perforated LED-illuminated facades, facade cassettes with integrated solar panels, Cor-Ten steel panels, as well as a numerous other facade innovations.
During the CASE-marathon “Architectural solutions and technologies to reduce the cost of construction. Energy efficient architecture ” Rauta director Andriy Ozeychuk shared advanced experience in building a HAMK building with an near-zero energy building. During the construction of HAMK research & development center in Finland, the most advanced technologies were applied, such as light steel frame, energy saving air-tight sandwich panels, solar panels, solar collector, geothermal system, radiant heating and air-conditioning, translucent polycarbonate facades and smart home technologies.
“By using modern Ruukki technical solutions already today our customers can receive a 2.5 times reduction in energy consumption while operating commercial building,” said Andriy Ozeychuk. “At the same time the return on investment, for example, for Ukraine, is about 4-5 years, and the owner gets a much more attractive project from a commercial point of view.”
In his presentation, the Rauta director paid special attention to the appearance and interior of the HAMK center, where highly effectively were used design profiles, Cor-Ten facades, facades with image and perforation, as well as a sandwich panel with decorative flashings.
