1The Rauta CEO told the specialized magazine Commercial Property about the peculiarities of the company’s work during the war time.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, out of concern for the safety of employees, Rauta has suspended construction work at all sites and resumed it in full scope in early April. At the same time office employees were transferred to distant work with full-scale payment and continued all ongoing projects.
The suspension of activities on current projects allowed Rauta to introduce several compleatly new solutions for the Ukrainian construction market. “We have developed a technology for the construction of frameless houses from sandwich panels, which can be used in the ultra-fast construction of settlements for internally displaced persons”, – Andriy Ozeychuk said. “Another innovation was the development of multi-storey buildings construction technology using sandwich panels as external walls, which allows a developer to get up to 5% additional space for sale.”
According to Andriy Ozeychuk, today the majority of Rauta’s orders are for projects for the restoration of destroyed commercial, industrial and warehouse facilities.
