1Rauta presented polyisocyanurate foam sandwich panels with a guaranteed fire resistance up to EI 60 and fire reaction class B-s1,d0 according to DSTU EN 13501-2:2016.
The F in the name stands for Fire and indicates that these panels are the most fire resistant in Ruukki’s PIR core product portfolio. Ruukki F-PIR sandwich panels are supplied only with visible fasteners (SP2B and SP2E) and can be either standard or Energy series.

The high fire safety parameters of Ruukki F-PIR panels were additionally confirmed by independent laboratory tests conducted by FM Global insurance company in the USA according to FM 4881 and 4480 standards. As a result of tests, sandwich panels have received a positive assessment for their application as external walls and internal partitions of buildings without any height restrictions.
