1Rauta conducted fire resistance tests of Ruukki products according to European standards, which confirmed that 120 mm thick sandwich panels withstand fire for at least 45 minutes.
The result obtained is confirmed by a protocol from an accredited laboratory and has the highest indicator among all PIR panels with a thickness of 120 mm or more available on the Ukrainian market.
“The low thickness, M0 flame spread group and high fire resistance open up wide possibilities for using Ruukki X-PIR sandwich panels for the construction of agricultural and industrial buildings, because now customers will be able to get top-quality sandwich panels with high fire safety at a significantly lower price,” said CEO of Rauta Andriy Ozeychuk.
The test was conducted in accordance with the requirements of European standards, to which the relevant DSTU EN 14509 refers, and that is a significant step towards fulfilling the requirements of Regulation 305 in Ukraine.
