Construction and engineering company Rauta has received a certificate and a declaration of conformity of its products with technical regulations of the standard DSTU B EN 14782: 2015 “Self-supporting metal sheets for roofing, exterior cladding and interior lining – Product specification and requirements.”
The European standard DSTU B EN 14782: 2015 was harmonized in Ukraine with the assistance of the Ukrainian Steel Construction Center and entered into force on January 1, 2016. The standard specifies requirements and test methods for prefabricated self-supporting metal sheets and tiles used for roofing, wall cladding and lining, as well as regulations for marking, labeling and conformity assessment of products.
“DSTU B EN 14782: 2015 is the most advanced reference document, which regulates the quality of metal facade and roofing products in Ukraine. Therefore, while purchasing products certified in line with this standard, the buyer can be 100% sure of its quality and performance characteristics that meet the highest requirements of the European Union,” General Manager of Rauta Andriy Ozeychuk said.
Earlier, Rauta became the first company in Ukraine to certify sandwich panels in line with the standards DSTU B EN 14509: 2014.
Rauta’s feature, among others, is its involvement in the forming of world trends in the segments of roofing and facade materials, therefore the company was among the first in the Ukrainian market to offer innovative technical solutions and novelties in this area. Among Rauta’s latest developments there are perforated facades with back lighting, cladding with integrated photovoltaic cell systems or glass surface, as well as panels made of weather-resistant Cor-Ten steel.
