Construction and engineering company Rauta presented its products at the international exhibition InterBuildExpo 2016, the most famous and prestigious venue in Ukraine for the presentation of construction materials and technologies, on March 23-26.
The exhibition showed certain positive trends in 2016 compared to the same periods in 2014 and 2015 due to deferred demand that have been accumulated over the past two years. A more stable political and economic situation in 2016 allowed unfreezing some facilities and intensified activities of construction companies.
While preparing for the exhibition, Rauta prioritized the availability of visual samples and ready-made price offers for its products. The company singled out the category of complete buildings to present single-storey hangars constructed using the light gauge steel framing technology and multi-storey buildings with steel-reinforced concrete floor and light gauge steel wall panels, and the second category included components for commercial construction, such as sandwich panels, load-bearing sheets and low profiled sheets, facades and design profiles.
Agriculture and metallurgy exporters still remain the driving force of the real sector. Therefore, during the exhibition, Rauta paid special attention to standard solutions for agriculture and presented unique prices for ready-made Spider buildings with galvanized framework. Typical projects of the Agro-1 series for poultry farms, Agro-2 for pig farms and Agro-3 for dairy farms were presented to visitors. Rauta also showed a fragment of a complete building with galvanized light gauge steel framing and “economy” cladding.
Polish sandwich panels supplied by Rauta attracted major interest among visitors, while architects especially liked the new Cor-Ten material with rusting effect, design profiles, linear and cassette facades produced by Ruukki Estonia.
According to the organizer, the exhibition brought together more than 500 companies, around 1,000 brands, representatives of a dozen foreign countries and more than 25,000 visitors during four days. The exhibition took place in three indoor pavilions and an open exhibition site of the KyivExpoPlaza exhibition center with a total area of more than 20,000 square meters.
