Rauta confirmed fire safety of Ruukki-SSAB cladding materials

Rauta has tested and confirmed PPGI for ventilated facade claddings as a non-combustible materials.
The studies were carried out by the TEST fire testing center according to the DSTU B V.2.7-19-95 method and confirmed materials compliance with the non-combustible class, which roughly corresponds according to the European classification to A1; A1-S1, d0; A2-S1, d0.
“The availability of such protocol guarantees the developers fire safety of Ruukki-SSAB products classified as non-combustible materials and therefore does not require confirmation by other fire safety indicators, such as: flammability, flame spread, smoke generation ability and toxicity”, – specified Oleg Karpenko, Head of Rauta Research and Development.
