Rauta completes reconstruction of Novus logistics center
2The company conducted an inspection, and also delivered and installed new building structures in record short time.
On November 25, 2025, a Russian missile destroyed the distribution center of the Novus retail chain. More than 7,000 m2 of envelope structures were damaged, which required urgent replacement to continue the operation of the supermarket chain.
After the inspection, Rauta dismantled the destroyed structures and temporarily closed the building’s thermal circuit. This made it possible to continue the uninterrupted operation of the logistics center.
Due to the importance of the warehouse’s operation for Ukraine’s food security, new sandwich panels were manufactured at the European Ruukki factory and delivered to the site according to an individual schedule in just 3 weeks.
The installation of the sandwich panels was carried out by Rauta specialists using own construction equipment, which accelerated the implementation time and minimized project risks.
The innovative Novus logistics center, which uses Ruukki Energy series sandwich panels, is the first BREEAM-certified food warehouse in Ukraine.
