SP2B X-PIR Energy is a sandwich panel of increased energy efficiency with foamed polyisocyanurate (PIR) core with improved fire protection properties.
The core of this sandwich panel is made of rigid, HCFC-free, self-extinguishing and sustainable polyisocyanurate foam (PIR). Its excellent thermal insulation properties allow for the decrease of panel thickness which transfers directly to lower transportation and assembly costs, as well as significant savings of building’s life cycle costs.
Ruukki sandwich panels are manufactured using Finnish technologies and are the most energy-efficient and high-quality panels available on the European market.
Energy sandwich panels help to reduce the energy consumption of the building by up to -20% compared to traditional sandwich panels. Energy-saving sandwich panels minimize the loss of building energy through the joints and the surface of the product due to the presence of a tubular seal in the locks and special sealing of the panel joints.
Together with Ruukki airtightness technology it’s possible to achieve excellent airtightness to the entire building. This can decrease energy costs and CO2 emissions up to 30%. Using Ruukki’s solutions you can receive more credits in LEED and BREEAM certification systems.
SP2B X-PIR Energy sandwich panel is an ideal solution for facades with high energy efficiency requirements.
Optionally, on request, SP2B X-PIR Energy sandwich panel can be delivered as FM Approved product with a certificate granted by the world-biggest insurance company FM Global.
