Ruukki Firewall prevents fire from spreading to neighboring rooms or nearby buildings.
Ruukki Firewall is based on Ruukki sandwich panels with mineral wool filling. Additional fire protection is provided by sealing all joints with mineral wool inserts, using sealants with fire-resistant seals, as well as a reinforced fastening system.
Ruukki Firewall is suitable for use in houses with frames made of steel, concrete or wood.
The Ruukki Firewall system is available in thicknesses of 200 and 230 mm and provides fire resistance under mechanical impact of EI-M 90 for a span of up to 7.5 m and EI-M 120 for a span of up to 6 m, which significantly exceeds the regulatory requirements for the 1st and the 2nd type firewall.
