On March 6, CEO of Rauta took part in the congress panel discussion on the topic “European directives integration for attracting investors to the Ukrainian construction industry development”.
The participants of the discussion were Liudmyla Kripka, executive director of the Ukrcement association (moderator); Iryna Lagunova, senior project manager (construction) of the Recovery and Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Development of Ukraine; Natalia Diuzhylova, deputy head of the State Inspectorate of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine; Andriy Ozeychuk, CEO of Rauta, chairman of the board of directors of the Ukrainian Steel Construction Center; Volodymyr Kaskiv, deputy director of the State Research Institute of infrastructure development; Viktoria Spivak, director of quality at Kovalska, Vitaliy Chaykovsky, product manager of MC-Bauchemie; Oleksiy Bubnov, executive director of the Association Window and Facade Market Participants; Anatoly Pushkar, president of the Ukrelectrokable Association.
Andriy Ozeychuk told that the full implementation of the Law On the Provision of Construction Products on the Market in Ukraine will significantly reduce the gap between Ukrainian legislation in the construction sector and European legislation and will contribute to an increase in European investments in new construction projects, as it will simplify the system of their work and reduce budgets.
“The experience of EU countries that have gone through the implementation of the 305 regulation shows that the introduction of common rules in the market can contribute to an increase in foreign investments in the acquisition of Ukrainian enterprises with subsequent financing of the expansion of their production capacities,” said the Rauta director.
