In an interview with the specialized publication GMK Center, Rauta CEO shared the company’s growth experience against the market decline.
According to Andriy Ozeychuk, in 2022, due to a significant decrease in demand for sandwich panels, Rauta’s business refocused on the restoration of destroyed buildings, as the company’s specialists have a deep understanding of the technologies and principles of reconstruction. “If until February 24, Rauta was engaged in the restoration of only one building in Kyiv, then by the end of 2022 we have implemented 7 projects in three cities of Ukraine, and the beginning of several more reconstruction projects is already scheduled for the spring of 2023,” stated Andriy Ozeychuk.
Thanks to the growth of installation and general contracting services, Rauta’s total revenue in 2022 increased by 7% compared to the previous year.
The company CEO also talked about the decrease in demand in the segment of sandwich panels, price fluctuations in the market of transportation, cladding and load-bearing steel structures, as well as the latest technologies for reconstruction and new construction.
